On the first day of summer, a cyst behind my left eye caused me to have a grand mal seizure. When I fell, I fell hard, and cracked the head of my left humerus on contact with the tile floor in my bathroom.
Three weeks later, I had another seizure - this time in bed. This seizure shook lose the pieces in my arm, shattering the head of the humerus in a way which made it impossible to keep it in the joint. Two joint reductions and a surgery later, my shoulder looked a bit different.
Within a week of the surgery, one of the internal sutures holding everything together snapped, causing my shoulder to dislocate for a third time. The head of the humerus was chipped in multiple places, one of the muscles was disconnected from my body at 3 points. The humerus then shifted from behind the shoulder joint to in front of it, splitting parts of the prior incision apart.
